Today we started our lesson with the warm up of "My 100 Words" group 1 and 2 and our goal is for the students to familiarize with the words being used in the topics the Yellow Book. After the warm - up the students started to read and answer the workbook with the topics I, me, myself and am.
In the "Yes We Can Blue Book" we had a review of the phonics differentiating the sounds of T and D. Then we studied the opposite words like long and short, big and small, quiet and noisy etc. with the use of their hands and facial expressions to demonstrate the meaning of each word. They also identified the different kinds of animals and their characteristics.
